An article on the BBC website quotes:
Canadian researchers found those with low self-esteem actually felt worse after repeating positive statements about themselves.

Repeating positive self-statements may benefit certain people, such as individuals with high self-esteem, but backfire for the very people who need them the most.

WOW!!
That is similar to what some personal development coaches already said: you have to remove your inner ‘obsticles’ first, all these old believes, agreements, blockages and so on.

I do not understand how positive affirmations could have a negative affect on someone. Surely the worst that would happen is ‘nothing’?
